A loooong walk for a small drink of water

Oh wow, tons has happened since we last checked in. The group of attacker ended up being Violet Gunnhilder and four minions, two of which the party killed, two of which fled with Violet when she did. The Justicar surived, and roped them into attacking ther revisionists at dawn in a few days.

They went to Valiar, who pretty much threw blame everywhere but himself, but promsied to send a small congent of men to help them out against the revisionsists. The party split here, Sheana being sal,ty off on her own while the rest of the were less salty on thier own. They went to Mercer’s, cleaned him PRETTY much out, and met Mithli, the dwarf. They then went to an information dealer, who bargained some deals with them, and told thme to check out the Shinga’s final Arena fight of the first round.

The party then went to go check out the Rose Garden, an inn that “Baron Ruck” had taken over. They ended up meeting Fennec and crew, who were dicks, and realized they were working for “Ruck”. Roping up Theia and Mithli, they headed the next day to the Arena for thier fight. Meeting Sheana, they went into the Arena, watching the Urban Rock fight and heading into thier own. Before, they watched Isana fight, and had a chance to get help from her. This ended up not going too well, but she told them to call upon her in her tower. Shaena goes off on her own, getting a forged entry into the Platinum Heights, good for one time from a well dressed halfling in the secret tavern under the shitty small bar.

They fought, emerging victorious and scarred, really not doing great, but victorious which was dope and made them happy. They also got a selection of items from Thrask’s collection, choosing the headband of intellect, because who doesn’t like being smarter. Heading to Dashiva’s private Box (which they have a key for), they end up watching the next fights. Shaena, Theia, and Mithli head off to Simon, but on the way encounter a bunch of miners who have a problem with a fish undead thing. They take it to Simon, locking it in his safe because he’s sleeping after researching all night, but Christina tells him it’s there so noooo worries. Heading back, they met Valiar who was fighting with Enteri, and go with him to infiltrate Dashiva’s.

They end up going through the Sewers, fighting a Rat king and some dopple rats. Sheana falls into the cistern after her warhammer, and gets infected with the Nithiliths curse. She gers cured, and the party makes it to Dashiva’s. They make thier way in, finding Dashiva’s secret shrine to Shar and making their way through. They find the Liosalfar, and end up freeing him after a small conflict. They ask him three questions, learning the “Ruck” is not “Ruck”, contintuing through. Panorin triggers a trap, alerting Castle Trenity to who he is. Then they continued through, not seeing the dead guard. They got to the vault, learning a bit about the Trail fo Fate, Fortune, and Faith. After a bit of a kerfuffle emerging from Valiar revealing that they were attacking the revisionsits the next dawn, Sheana walked into the vault, triggering the golem by throwing a tapestry over the orb.

Viva la Resistance

Our heroes began this session at the Arena, confuzzled because they only had three people for a five people token. After bumbling around a bit, meeting the Arena Attendant (who has a name but who cares), he was a bit of a dick but so were they so it works. After realizing they couldn’t sign up, they decided to go find two more people to help them. First up was Ros, who (shockingly) was missing. They talked with Dirk for a bit, and Elune offered begrudgingly to help if they needed it rather then looking for Ros. They then tried to head up to the Justicar, who they thought could prehaps help them OR maybe cure them (exhaustion is a bitch). Instead, thanks to a shitty survival roll, they found themselves ambushed in a street in the by a gang of Ruffians, and told of course that they had to pay a toll.

They weren’t all super about this, but before it came to a head they met Eileen Connelly, owner of the welcoming wench, a brothel. Turns out, she’s also the revisionist leader. They headed down to thier camp in the tunnels, and joined up (but not barets). They fought some drow, but didn’t loot them so no gun hint was had. Picking up Panorin after his …. group session…. they went to go find the Justicar. They did find him, surrounded by bodies, some days old. He told them that he had been being attacked for days by groups of people, always different, once even a child who tried to kill him. When as he spoke, a group of people weapons out walked up..

Jail is fun...right?

Starting act 2.5, our heros found themselves in a bit of a bind. In jail, with Enora and Shaena cursed, it was…not looking good. They halfheartedly tried to escape but failed. It was around this time the consortium exchange went up in flames, burning down most of the shops here. Who did it? Valiar told the players it was malcontents of Dashiva who hasn’t been paid, but it was actually the revisionists. They were questioned by Captain Ezra Grey, who pretty much wanted to murder them (presenting herself as a villian so they wouldn’t suspect Valiar) or Kretzk, that plus the arguement with Kretzk puts her under suspition, so she’ll be careful, using disguise self. They were then questioned by Valiar, establishing him as an ally, and he asked them to fight in the tourney for him and represent the guards, giving them a token he has. He also warned them against foul play. He gave them two potions and sent them on thier way, telling them they can get in touch with him if they need anything. They were also semi-intro’d to the more specalzied Goldies, marked with a gloack streak on thier arm. They then left, walking through the ruins of the exchange, witnessing the destruction. They visited Mercer, who’s buisness was BOOMING and met Samantha, an younger human woman with glasses who’s kind of a pushover. Some jackass named Lord Rogers was kind of a dick, so they will probably go fuck with him later. They were told to return the next day for Enora’s sword, and in four days for the cloak. They headed towards the Arena, seeing the changes on the isle of GAMES as they entered. They were admitted into the arena, (where they had to register by dusk), and JUST realized they were three people with a token for five before the session ended.

Arc 2 Mid-point Climax

At the end of the last session, Shaena had just lost to Edira and Panorin had seen who he thinks is Blank Eddie.

He followed him to the warehouse, roping Edira in. The warehouse was Shinga owned, and inside they found the Rakshasa named Uzisha, who told them he had two contracts on them (one for money (shinga) one for fear/power (pit fiend)). They tried to attack the illusion, triggering a fight with Uzisha and Azoth (enchantorium wizard he had under his control via dominate person). They murdered Azoth, taking his transmuter stone (DV 60 ft). During the fight, however, Uzisha killed Edira (he ripped her head off). Shaena went a bit crazy, as the guards came in. Trapped under a knocked over rack by Shaena and low on health, Uzisha plane shifted back to his plane, leaving the party alone and framed for the murder of Dashiva and potentiall Edira. As the guards came in, most of the party let themselves be taken, but Shaena had to be knocked out by Captain Krezk, who was none to gentle.

Our heroes were then taken to jail, and incarcerated for three days. On the third night, they watched the exchange be lit on fire. Shaena and Edira are cursed, and have 3 levels of exhaustion each.

Plans —> Valiar has to question them, recruit them, and then release them. They have to deal with the aftermath of what has happened, as well as get healed (unless they can convince Valiar to get them healed).

New Adventure
A lot of shit has happened.

Whew okay, new adventure has been running for a bit. Here is a list of important events.

Party escapes from BrokenSpire Keep, finds Rill..
Party meets Jaroo, gets asked to go to moathouse.
Meet Lucan
Go to moathouse, find secret door down, face Lubash the Ogre.
Rescue Emelia and the mapmaker (name??)
Return to the moathouse, Enora dies in a battle.
She is resurrected as a Wood Elf, agree to do a favor for Jaroo in return.
Finish moathouse, kill Oron and Lereth.
Head over to Giselle the Nymph, briefly meet high elf on the way (imp to Alar), get diamond for Artemis.
Oathstone, meet Vox and Shinga, fuck with the wrong dude. Deck of many things gives Panorin a powerful enemy.
Save Roslyn from Hookbeard, become friends.
Fight a white dragon with a cursed stone just because.
Head to Brokenspire keep, meet that asshole cleric who runs down into the underdark, flee from Rhog Bonebreaker after killing a ton of his men.
Get taunted by L.L. (Locke Lemora, Imre, but they don’t know that).
Decide to head to Lugard, but get waylaid along the way by pirates led by Balthier Pendragon. Get shipwrecked, meet Esmerelda, get fortunes told, she gets kidnapped.
Destroy Strahd’s diary, release a part of his power due to Geas.
Finish getting to Lugard.
Putter around, do a quest for human eyes. Meet MMM.
Attack one of the Shinga’s warehouses, light it on fire after murdering the owner in Broad Daylight.
Curfew goes into effect.
Go to huntsmen, accept contract for Bulette.
Meet Simon, professor at the enchantorium.
Sheana fights in a couple of fights, Enora gets involved.
Enora potentially gets set up to fight the Hammer (he will only fight ONE though, her or Shaena).
Head down into Raven Queens Crypts due to Panorin’s lying about visiting his wife.
Fight Chaos Knight in Abandoned Temple to Silvanus.
Head towards Bulette….and we stop right before that.

Session #5
Water and Pits

Fae left, the others thought about following him but then went to Lake Luc instead.

They almost drowned, but then found the place the orb was. They missed the clue.

They then went south into the empty town (Fireballed to shit) went into the tower. Weren’t very quiet, broke in a couple doors then they heard something. Krifi cast minor illusion to make it seem like a door was there, then they are hiding.

Session #4
The Monestery -- Wrapping things up

Found the secret room, Zhan set off the trap because he’s an idiot. They then finished exploring the monastery and found Aran’Gar. They, failing perception checks, didn’t realize he was being controlled (and I doubt they took notes), possible future story line off his being controlled. They then “destroyed” the book of Qin, though Fae helped Yakon find the real one. They then went and played with the Yellow Orb in the courtyard, trying to smash it. They then fought the Shadows, and decided to leave and go seek the orbs elsewhere. Yakon gave Fae the Ka’Kari and a note which opened later that night…..

Fae and Zhan had dreams, keep Nature checking Lipsy and Perception checking Krifi.

Session #3
Slowing it Down

Hung out with Yakon, explored the monestary. Didn’t touch the yellow orb, fought some animated armor.

Really not a ton of things happened.

A blog for your campaign

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few tips:

1. Invite your players

Invite them with either their email address or their Obsidian Portal username.

2. Edit your home page

Make a few changes to the home page and give people an idea of what your campaign is about. That will let people know you’re serious and not just playing with the system.

3. Choose a theme

If you want to set a specific mood for your campaign, we have several backgrounds to choose from. Accentuate it by creating a top banner image.

4. Create some NPCs

Characters form the core of every campaign, so take a few minutes to list out the major NPCs in your campaign.

A quick tip: The “+” icon in the top right of every section is how to add a new item, whether it’s a new character or adventure log post, or anything else.

5. Write your first Adventure Log post

The adventure log is where you list the sessions and adventures your party has been on, but for now, we suggest doing a very light “story so far” post. Just give a brief overview of what the party has done up to this point. After each future session, create a new post detailing that night’s adventures.

One final tip: Don’t stress about making your Obsidian Portal campaign look perfect. Instead, just make it work for you and your group. If everyone is having fun, then you’re using Obsidian Portal exactly as it was designed, even if your adventure log isn’t always up to date or your characters don’t all have portrait pictures.

Session #2
To Berelain!

PC’s brought the ears back to Gareth, tried to rent/steal a boat from Old Man Adams (??).

Went to Berelain.

Fae met Darrin, priest of Freya. Good contact.

Lispy and Krifi went to the Horse’s Mug, met Denna. Didn’t really go great for them.

Zhan went to Finy’s, rang bell but then didn’t buy anything.

Went to the Palace at Berelain, met Sayrah, Roget, and Zachrys. Learned a little about the map (not much). Learned what the orbs maybe were.

Went to the Qin Monstestary, slaughtered a bunch of Cultists. Just meeting Yakon when session ended.
